What is Oneness. (Introduction to Oneness)
An Introduction to the realm of Oneness:
For Life/Performance Coaching:
Are you seeking oneness?
What level of engagement is appropriate for you?
What degree of oneness is applicable for you?
What are you seeking? Or missing?
This realm of life has many types, as well as levels and areas of engagement.
In physical performance oneness:
* Connects to equipment. opponents, other participants including audiences and animals (horses,) time (being in the zone,) etc.
* When "reaction time" is too slow; or slightly out of beat.
The ” working oneness” does not completely accept or engage in everything. Rejecting as ”not acceptable,” modifying or reframing are also aspects of protecting the integrity of the individual. This insures nourishing the individual. And is a vital part of the life navigation process.
For example, “‘truth” is not a sole criteria for bringing something into an individual’s state of being, and or oneness. “Truth” without love can be brutal. (Or, brutality can be rationalized with “truth.”) And love is an illustration of the multiple layers and extents of an “oneness engagement” with others, other pursuits, or things. (Loving chocolate, loving a pursuit, loving a pet, loving a lover, falling in love.)
However to those who are seeking “more,” a “working” access to the options of the realms and layers of oneness is priceless.
To illustrate, in what ways does this story apply?
“The Bent Leaf”
A most desired, recognized enrollment school taught mastery in several fields of endeavor by having students copy the work of a master over and over until they got it declared as truly being representative of mastery. Whether it was for painting, dance, or athletics; the process was the same. Many spent countless years without achieving mastery, yet it was the only school with success.
A renowned student of over thirty years had been working on a painting of a flower with a leaf bent under the weight of rain drops. So technically exquisite to greater and greater heights, yet never approved. One day, closely comparing it to the Master’s painting he excitedly took it to the Instructor and happily exclaimed,
“This is it! I have finally done it! Look. This is exactly like the Master’s!”
Quickly glancing at the painting the Instructor replied, “Beautiful. Keep trying.”
“What! Again! No, This is perfect! Please, Look again.”
“No, keep trying.” Was repeated.
Rather rudely the student said, “I don’t believe it. Show me what is wrong.”
Picking up a paint brush the Instructor said, “I will show you.”
And, exactly right next to the flower the student painted, the Instructor quickly proceeded to paint the same flower with the leaf bent under the weight of the rain drops. Then gave the paper back to the student; put his brush down; and went back to his studies.
The student closely examined the paper with both flowers side-by-side and exclaimed,
“Excuse me; but,… they are the same!”
“No, not close.” “Keep trying.”
“But they look exactly the same.”
“No, keep trying.”
“Tell me. Please tell me. What is different? They look the same!”
“My leaf is ready to spring back up.”
Moral of the story: “We don’t know what we don’t know.”
Working reality of the story: There are endless realms and layers.
Seeking more is a choice; as is contentment where you are.
